We see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. If you use our services, place orders through our companies or otherwise leave your personal data with us, you indicate that you accept our privacy policy.

What is personal data?
This is basically all data to which you can be identified. This may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, signature, social security or taxfile number and even an IP address.

Providing services: In order to provide the best possible service, we must record your administrative data.

  • Courses
  • Orders and pre-orders
  • Return & repair
  • Contact with an employee (by email / telephone / chat box)

  • Newsletter (if you have registered for this)

Other goals: When visiting our website, internal visitor analyses are performed to further optimize the website and to keep track of how you use the website.

Exchange of your data

Information provision to third parties
Without your permission, we will not make your personal information available to third parties who are not part or direct partner of our companies TermoCam / Thermografie Centrum EU / Infraroodcamera.eu / Thermography EUROPE. Only when the law requires us to provide information to third parties then we will naturally comply with this demand.

Your rights regarding your personal data

You have certain rights regarding your personal data. These are laid down in the European legislation. In order to invoke one of your rights, you can submit a request by post, e-mail (or contact form available on the website) to us. You will receive a response within one month, in which you can read in what capacity your request has been complied with. In case your request has been complied in relation to the rights below, you must identify yourself before we can execute your request.

Right of access
The privacy regulations provide that you can view the data that has been recorded about yourself. This is possible at 1 of our locations by appointment.

Right to correction / addition:
If you notice that your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you can point this out to us. We then take measures to correct and / or supplement this information.

Right to erase:
You have the right to have (part of) your data deleted. You can submit a request for this by post or email.

Right to portability:
You have the right to receive a copy of your own data, which you have provided yourself.

Adjust / unsubscribe from newsletter
At the bottom of every newsletter you will find the option to easily unsubscribe from the newsletter. 

Retention periods

We do not store your personal data longer than the legal retention period.

  • We have to keep our records with your invoice, payment and order details for the tax authorities for 7 years.
  • If you send your product for repair or maintenance, we will keep your report and contact details for 7 years. 

Security of your personal data

We handle your information with great care. Therefore rules are used that are laid down by law. TermoCam and the support staff ensure that your personal data is stored securely. Appropriate measures have been taken to protect your personal data that comply with current laws and regulations. This includes encryption of data, password and access management, awareness, and compliance with data protection policies. Emails sent via the web forms of our website are sent encrypted over the internet.

Reporting incidents
If it unexpectedly turns out that something has gone wrong with the protection of your personal data, we will report this to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. If the breach of your personal data may have adverse or adverse consequences for you, we will let you know as soon as possible.

Supervision of the processing of personal data
The rules about protecting your personal data are laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation Act. The Dutch Data Protection Authority ensures that this law is complied accordingly.
